At Huntington Dog & Cat Hospital, we treat your information with the same care we give your pets. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

When you fill out our welcome form, request an appointment or boarding stay, or call or email us, we may collect your name, address, phone numbers, email address, and details about your pet, such as name, species, breed, age, health history, medications, and care notes.

How we use it

We use your information to care for your pet, schedule and confirm appointments and boarding stays, send reminders and updates you have asked for, answer your questions, and keep accurate medical records.

Text messages

If you choose to receive text messages, we use your mobile number only to send appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, and boarding updates. Texting is optional and is never a condition of service. See our Text Message (SMS) Terms for details.

We never share or sell your mobile number

We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or text message (SMS) opt-in consent information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

When information may be shared

We only share information when it is needed to care for your pet or run our clinic, for example with a referral or emergency hospital you are sent to, a diagnostic laboratory, or service providers who help us operate, such as our text messaging provider, solely to deliver messages to you. We may also share information when the law requires it.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and limit access to the people who need it to care for your pet.

Your choices
